Passenger protection barriers for rail vehicles
Improved safety on railway platforms.
Passenger protection barriers are used when there is a risk that passengers might fall or otherwise get into the space between carriages when a train is at the platform.
With passenger protection barriers, such accidents can be avoided. They work with two walls – either as a folding bellows or corrugated bellows – that are attached on both sides between the carriages. This closes off the space between the carriages and ensures the safety of passengers.
