Pölderl was named Managing Director of GERSYS in February 2020. He took over from the longtime head and founder of GERSYS, Erwin Sterzer, who continues to act as a consultant for the company. HÜBNER General Manager Helge Förster thanked Pölderl for his service in the preceding months in helping to integrate the company into the HÜBNER Group and wished him all the best for his personal and professional future.
Huschke Diekmann, CEO Rail in the HÜBNER Group, will assume the top position at GERSYS on an interim basis. In his main function, Diekmann is in charge of the Group's Rail Division which brings together a wide range of business with rail manufacturers. In addition to its well-known gangway systems, HÜBNER also supplies chassis components for railway cars, entry systems for trams and the GERSYS product range of cockpit displays for rail vehicles.
Diekmann: "GERSYS is an interesting extension of the HÜBNER product portfolio for rail vehicles. Particularly in the cockpit area we see very interesting growth possibilities which we are pursuing with the GERSYS product range. We will continue to develop this business."
GERSYS has its headquarters in Wolfratshausen south of Munich and has been part of the HÜBNER Group since the beginning of 2019. The GERSYS product range includes vehicle computers, display systems and driver assistance systems that are based on the railway standards EN50155 and EN45545. These systems are known for their high quality and long product life cycles.
