Apprenticeship programs currently available at HÜBNER

As an international industrial company, HÜBNER needs to have industrial business specialists to operate successfully in world markets. As an industrial business specialist, you will purchase raw materials, spare parts and equipment or will sell the goods produced with these inputs to customers around the world. We will prepare you for this these tasks in the course of your training. At the same time, you will gain insights into the HR and marketing departments as well as into the accounting and controlling departments.

The apprenticeship training course takes 3 years. With good or very good overall performance, you will have the opportunity to complete a Bachelor’s degree in conjunction with the apprenticeship starting in the second apprenticeship year.

We expect the following from you:

  • Secondary school leaving certificate (12th grade), general higher education entrance qualification or technical college entrance qualification

  • Good grades in German, mathematics and English

  • Good communication skills

  • A friendly and open-minded demeanor

  • Independent working style

  • Strong personal dedication and sense of responsibility

At HÜBNER, many different production areas are precisely coordinated with each other. But this also means that if any individual element breaks down, then the whole production comes to a standstill – and that costs money. That’s why all of the production facilities always have to be kept in good working order. As an industrial mechanic (m/f/d), you will regularly service and maintain the systems so that they don’t break down in the first place. And if a breakdown does occur, you make sure that repairs are carried out quickly and effectively. In addition, you set up new production systems, modify systems and bring them into operation.

How this all is done is what you will learn at HÜBNER. After your apprenticeship, you will be very knowledgeable about technical systems – from their production to their maintenance to their monitoring. The apprenticeship training course takes 3.5 years.

We expect the following from you:

  • A good secondary school leaving certificate (10th or 12th grade)

  • Good grades in German, mathematics, physics and/or chemistry

  • High motivation

  • Open-mindedness

  • Logical thinking

  • Manual skills

  • Strong technical interests

  • Spatial visualization skills

The machines that HÜBNER uses in its production facilities need to have highly capable people to operate them. Large and complex machinery is used for the production of folding bellows, articulation and gangway systems, rubber and plastic injection-molded parts. Machinery like this can’t be operated intuitively or after a brief look at the instructions – and that goes especially for the retrofitting or maintenance of such machines. This requires trained machine and plant operators (m/f/d). They ensure that processes run smoothly and that production does not come to a standstill. In other words, this is a job with lots of responsibility. The apprenticeship training course takes 2 years.

Modern machines are often a combination of mechanical, electronic, pneumatic and hydraulic components. This is true of electronic drive systems, for example. To build and operate such machines, you need the skills of both a mechanic and of an electronics technician. In the job of the mechatronics technician (m/f/d) both of these fields come together. In this apprenticeship, we train you to become an all-rounder with skills that are in high demand. You will assemble systems and machines from mechanical and electronic parts, for example articulation, lift and ramp systems, and bring them into operation. At the same time, you will learn about the operation, maintenance and servicing of these systems. The apprenticeship training course takes 3.5 years.

As a specialist for digitization management (m/f/d) you will help HÜBNER to manage digital processes. In areas such as communications, data and process management, you will prepare the interfaces between our commercial departments and our IT. You will help with the introduction of IT solutions such as SAP or Office 365, developing IT concepts and selecting appropriate software and hardware. In addition to implementation, training and support, you will also assist in ensuring compliance with our data protection regulations while also keeping an eye on IT security.
