The company ECUtronic emerged from a cooperation between the Fraunhofer Institute for Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (IVI) in Dresden and the company HÜBNER from Kassel. ECUtronic is a young dynamic start-up and mainly deals with the application and integration of vehicle control units for various applications on the road. ECUtronic develops electronic control units for suppliers in the commercial vehicle industry according to the new requirements of ISO 26262.

GERSYS GmbH

GERSYS is a leading supplier of instrumentation for the cockpit of railway locomotives and other special vehicles. Its product range includes vehicle computers, display systems and driver assistance systems that are based on the railway standards EN50155 and EN45545.  GERSYS has been part of the HÜBNER Group since the beginning of 2019.

GWU supplies the bus and rail industries as well as manufacturers of special vehicles with customized rubber profiles and other products featuring integrated sensor systems. As the HÜBNER Group's only rubber extrusion location in Germany, the Neu-Ulm site plays a major role in the group.

Fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) components are produced at the location in Poland for railway vehicles and buses as well as for construction machinery. These components are also used for vehicle front and back ends as well as for roof structures in hybrid and CNG buses.

With the company HEMSCHEIDT Engineering, the HÜBNER Group has extended its product portfolio in the railway vehicle area to include chassis components. HEMSCHEIDT develops and produces springs, dampers, stabilizers and hydraulic leveling units for trams, metros and mainline trains. HEMSCHEIDT Fahrwerktechnik GmbH & Co. KG

HEMSCHEIDT Fahrwerktechnik GmbH & Co. KG is located in Haan-Gruiten close to Düsseldorf. It develops and produces turntables for articulated buses as well as vibration dampers and chassis systems. A new production facility for the USA growth market: Since 2020 the location in Dunlap, Tennessee, has been producing elastomer molded parts, silicone seals as well as sensor-equipped rubber profiles for the rapidly expanding U.S. bus and rail vehicle industry.

Kassel, Germany is the headquarters of the HÜBNER Group. The company was founded here in 1946. In addition to production facilities for the bus and rail industries, a large part of the group's research and development activities are conducted in Kassel.

HÜBNER Italia S. r. l. has been a sales location of the HÜBNER Group since 2004 and serves as the contact partner for the Italian mobility market.

China has the largest mobility market of the world. The HÜBNER Group has been represented in China with HUBNER Interface Systems since 2002. A large part of the company's overall product portfolio is produced in Shanghai, including gangway systems and aerodynamic wind paneling systems for railway vehicles, folding bellows, articulation systems, ramps and lifts for buses, as well as airport technology equipment. The company is a qualified supplier of the Chinese train manufacturer CRRC and its subsidiaries (CRC, TRC, CBRC, ZELC, NPRT, PBTS, SF).

Since 2020, the HÜBNER Group also operates a sales location in the South Korean capital Seoul. HÜBNER has been present in Malaysia since 2013. The location oversees the procurement, trading, service, and marketing of rubber products as well as components for railway, bus, and other industrial applications.

As part of the HÜBNER Group, HUBNER Manufacturing Corporation (HMC) supplies the North American market with the complete portfolio of transport systems for bus, rail and airport technology applications. HÜBNER has special American models for gangway systems, folding bellows, canopies for passenger boarding bridges and articulation systems. The company is located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and employs approximately 80 persons.

HUBNER OOO Ltd. was established in August 2003 in Moscow, Russia. The main items produced are folding bellows for articulated buses and for trams as well as gangway systems for metros and passenger trains.

PolymerTechnik Ortrand GmbH is specialized in the development and production of elastomer-coated fabrics as well as elastomer and rubber membranes without a fabric component.
