The HÜBNER FrontAdd System has been specially developed to optimize the aerodynamics of trains so as to reduce energy consumption.
The custom-fitted front coupler cover is precisely mounted around the coupler and features an integrated corrugated bellows that moves flexibly with the coupling system. This ensures unrestricted coupler functionality while at the same time providing reliable protection for the coupler assembly.
The system not only reduces air resistance but also lowers noise levels in the driver’s cab for enhanced operating comfort. In addition, the robust front coupler cover protects sensitive coupler components (such as cabling, the windshield wiper motor, and the wiper fluid tank) against environmental influences. Primarily for use in regional and commuter trains, the HÜBNER FrontAdd System provides a highly durable, maintenance-friendly solution.
