HÜBNER gangway systems for double-deck car-transport trains are among the largest in use worldwide. They are manufactured from highly cut-resistant, coated fabrics and provide a secure, durable connection between railcars – even under extreme pressure conditions. 

The demands placed on gangway systems for car-transport trains are exceptionally high: They must cover over-sized vehicle interfaces, withstand significant air-pressure fluctuations, and provide maximum safety at all times.   

Since 1994, HÜBNER gangways have connected the individual car transport coaches in the shuttle trains operating between France and Great Britain. With a width of around 4 meters and a height of approximately 5.30 meters, these gangways rank among the largest systems in use worldwide. And they continue to deliver long-term structural stability and fatigue-free performance after decades of operation in the tunnel system connecting the United Kingdom and Europe.
