10 years’ service on the HÜBNER Group Advisory Board

Reinhard Hübner also highlights the valuable experience Nora Oberländer has gained outside the HÜBNER Group in recent years at various start-up companies in the energy and mobility sectors and the success she has achieved there. In the HÜBNER General Management she will be responsible for the areas of Digitalization and Strategy.
Success and experience in energy and mobility start-ups
Nora Oberländer is an industrial engineer (mechanical engineering/energy technology) and studied in Berlin, Sweden and Singapore. She is currently responsible for business development at the company STOFF2 GmbH. Based in Berlin, STOFF2 develops and builds systems for the production of green hydrogen. For the past 10 years, Nora Oberländer has served as a trustee on the HÜBNER Group Advisory Board as well as on the Advisory Board of the HÜBNER and Kennedy Foundation gGmbH.
As of 1 March 2025, the HÜBNER General Management will have an additional member and will be composed as follows:
Uwe Bittroff (58) has been a Managing Director of the HÜBNER Group since 2022. Within the General Management, he will continue to be responsible for the business division Mobility Road.
Ingolf Cedra (53) has been a Managing Director of the HÜBNER Group since 2014. Within the General Management, he will continue to be responsible for the business divisions Material Solutions and Photonics.
Kai Mentel (38) has been a Managing Director of the HÜBNER Group since 2022. Within the General Management, he will continue to be responsible for the business division Mobility Rail.
Nora Oberländer (30) will be responsible for the central areas Digitalization and Strategy within the General Management starting 1 March 2025.
Claus Schäfer (58) has been a Managing Director of the HÜBNER Group since 2022. Within the General Management, he will continue to be responsible for the central areas in Corporate Functions.
1946: Founding year of the HÜBNER Group
The HÜBNER Group got its start in 1946 when it was founded by Kurt Hübner in Kassel, Germany. Following Kurt Hübner’s death in 1985, his son Reinhard Hübner took over the management of the company. His sister Margrit Kennedy (née Hübner) became the second shareholder in the company. In 2015, Reinhard Hübner moved from the General Management to become the Chairman of the Advisory Board, which includes family members and other trustees. Nora Oberländer, granddaughter of Margrit Kennedy who died in 2013, has been a member of the Advisory Board since 2015.
