HÜBNER gangway systems for trams are made up of modular components that are perfectly matched to one another and can be flexibly adapted to different types of vehicles and operating conditions.
Folding and corrugated
Specially developed to handle tight curves, our folding and corrugated bellows reliably compensate for extreme movements between car sections, ensuring a safe and comfortable connection between cars.
Design & integration: The head covering of the bellows blends seamlessly with the overall vehicle contour; the shape and color of gangway bellows can be customized to match vehicle design.
Materials & safety: All materials meet applicable fire-safety standards (e.g. EN 45545, HL1–HL3, NFPA 130, etc.).
Variants: Depending on requirements, bellows are available in single-corrugated, double-corrugated or folding variants. Folding bellows feature particularly compact and light-weight construction.
Turntable systems
HÜBNER turntable systems for the gangway section of trams can be flexibly adapted to various application scenarios. The systems are available in various designs – with multiple floor covering options or anti-slip tread plates. With their robust construction, these systems deliver a long service life and reliably meet the demands of daily tram operation. Segmented variants allow for easy installation and removal as well as quick access to components below the turntable; optionally available with quick-release fasteners.

The HÜBNER energy guidance system can be precisely aligned with the vehicle wiring layout to ensure safe and reliable electrical energy supplybetween cars. The modular design allows for easy integration in existing vehicle architectures to provide optimal performance with simple handling.
Air duct systems
HÜBNER gangway systems can be equipped with integrated air duct systems – with single or multiple chambers as required.
