“Bluesharks” visit the HÜBNER plant in Nyíregyháza

Top sport meets top technology: after successful promotion to the top division, the Hungarian basketball team Hübner Nyíregyháza BS visited the Nyíregyháza plant. The players and management of the "Bluesharks" received exclusive insights into the production at the largest non-German HÜBNER location. HÜBNER-H Kft. Recently extended the contract as main sponsor and has also been namesake of the team for two years.

The visit was dominated by the latest sporting success: Last season the Bluesharks won the title in the second Hungarian basketball league and are now playing in the top division. In recognition of this, Ingo Heerdt, site manager and managing director of HÜBNER-H Kft., And administrative manager József Dobi awarded the guests with a glass trophy. "I am convinced that we will continue to work together successfully in the future" Ingo Heerdt remarked.

During their visit to Nyíregyháza, where HÜBNER produces gangway systems and elastomer door sealing systems, the Bluesharks received an extensive tour and got to know the production processes. The guests kept asking questions in order to find out more about the company and its employees.

Personal meeting strengthens the cooperation

We were very happy about the invitation. We were able to see for ourselves how much teamwork is behind the success of HÜBNER,” said Máté Mohácsi, managing director of the basketball club. Getting to know each other personally strengthened the connection to the main sponsor. “Of course, the HÜBNER employees are also invited to our games in the future,” explained Mohácsi. Ingo Heerdt was also pleased about the meeting. "It was great to meet the young and talented team and the whole staff in person," he said. The day ended with dinner.
