New approaches to training

“Accompanying young people on their way to their professional future has been part of the DNA of our corporate culture for years,” says HÜBNER Managing Director Claus Schäfer.“We are breaking new ground in recruiting skilled workers and have further expanded our training capacities in the IT sector.” Since last year, HÜBNER has already had an apprentice IT specialist for system integration and a clerk for digitization management. A total of around 50 trainees currently work at HÜBNER’s headquarters in Kassel.

At the start, the new trainees were offered a wide-ranging program in a one-week introductory workshop. This included an introduction to the company’s history, values and culture of HÜBNER as well as practical tips for everyday life in the company, but also the first steps in new IT systems with which the trainees regularly work on their personal laptops.

Training at HÜBNER means a lot of variety

“Above all, training at HÜBNER means a lot of variety – with insights into the numerous different areas of the company. This includes not only the content of the respective apprenticeship, but also valuable experience gained in the context of internships abroad,” summarized Susanne Fülling, HR Officer at HÜBNER.“We are enthusiastic about the energy and commitment of our new trainees and look forward to supporting them on their way.”

After the introductory workshop, the junior employees will start their training and will gain further, intensive insights in the coming weeks in order to be optimally prepared for their new tasks.
