HÜBNER invests in “High-Tech Gründerfonds” - Buying into the future

Kassel / Bonn (14 June 2022). HÜBNER is investing in the future and taking a long-term stake in the fourth fund of the German High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF), a public-private venture capital investment firm based in Bonn. The HTGF finances young start-up companies that are developing innovative technologies or forward-looking business models.

“From our point of view, the activities of High-Tech Gründerfonds have been very successful,” explains HÜBNER General Manager Helge Förster. “We expect valuable inspiration and insights into the start-up scene. With our entry into HTGF, we will have options to further develop our core business through knowledge transfer and the early recognition of market-related and international trends, for example in mobility concepts of the future.”

“Developing and driving innovation is more than just a phase for companies,” says General Manager Ingolf Cedra. “The investment in the High-Tech-Gründerfonds enables direct cooperation with start-ups and is therefore an important building block for shaping change in our own company and for expanding or supplementing our core business in a targeted manner.”
